Fit Friday: It’s Never Too Late

Well it’s Friday and I could not be happier! This week has presented itself with challenges that I never thought I would experience, but the good thing is it’s in the past. I am glad to be moving on. I call the title of this post Never Too Late because that is exactly how I felt today. I was approaching the end of my work day and one of my coworkers presented the idea taking a quick walk outside. I began to think of all the things I could have finished and being done before 5pm, but I put down my pen and went walking anyway. In that small time while walking, I was able to get back into a “fitness” state of mind. During our walk we stopped along the way and I led my coworkers in doing 3 sets of 30 quick step ups. It was great to be outside in this great weather and recharge my battery. You have to give energy to get energy, and that is exactly what I did. I went back to my desk feeling accomplished and I finished the day still completing everything I wanted to do. So to you I say it’s never too late. Get up and move! You will feel a lot better after.
