Well… well… well… can you believe 10 weeks came and went so fast? My coworkers are officially finished with their 10 week fitness challenge. All of the ladies did very well, and can you believe they are going to keep the momentum going with another challenge? I say whoo-hoo! Go for it!
Of course I have to announce this weeks winner and our overall winner. For this last weigh in the girls decided to share the winnings by announcing a first place winner and a second place winner. Our first place winner is Misty. Misty lost 4.63 pounds over the last two weeks and lost an overall total of 10.75 pounds for the whole challenge! I would like to give a great big heart felt congrats to her! She was very focused on her diet and fitness. Her diet consisted of only consuming 1300 calories a day. She enjoyed more fruits and veggies in her diet, and her favorite meal to cook was chicken tacos. As for her fitness, her exercise consisted of 1 hour of cardio, and 30 minutes weight training. Her advice for all those out there trying to lose weight or get more fit? “Find your internal motivation and that way you won’t cheat!”
Our second place spot belongs to Amy L. Amy has been a true inspiration to the whole group. Her journey started way before this challenge, and she is on her way to great things. Amy lost 3 pounds over the last two weeks, and lost an overall 3.62 pounds for the whole challenge. It is good to note she has lost inches and gain muscle. Her diet is primarily a low carb diet loaded with fruits, veggies, and proteins. She is also a member of Weight Watchers. Her fitness involves working out 4 times a week, and her favorite activities include cycling, running, and weight lifting. Her tip: Perseverance. She also encourages people not to get discouraged when they hit a plateau.

Cathy really showed great determination and lost a total of 16.13 pounds over the entire challenge! Now that’s how you finish strong! She stuck with her plan and the results definitely showed.
I just want to say thank you to the ladies for giving me permission to share their weight lost and fitness tips on my blog. They truly are a positive group to be around, and the encouragement they give to one another is great! So I guess congratulations goes to all those who participated and that are dedicating their time to live a more healthier life. What a Wellness Wednesday!!!
