My Fitness Journey: Tuesday Mood

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! As the day is winding to an end, I have to admit, I am a bit tired. I literally was out of the house all day since this morning. I am happy to say that I started off the day with great workout despite how I feel now. Since I am a runner at heart, I am continuing my jog/walk consisting of a 2 minute jog and a 1 minute walk. I feel better every week. I try to add something new to my workout every two weeks. This week as I walk I am incorporating lateral duck walks. It is a great way to work on my flexibility, and at the same time strengthen my thighs, hips, and buttocks. It’s funny how when I was younger I never really had the desire to push myself as much as I do now. I guess it came through life experience. I actually talk myself through workouts. Pushing myself. When it gets hard, I am constantly reminding myself that “I CAN DO THIS”. In all areas of life you too can coach and encourage yourself through every turn. It’s just better if you learn it earlier on in life! Lol! I’m having a wonderful time finding how I can accomplish my goals. Everyday getting closer. It put me in a mood. A “Tuesday Mood” if you will. Not negative, but in a mood to see the rest of the week for what it can be. It’s a beautiful opportunity to make my dreams come true every passing day.

  1. So true! Cheering yourself on and giving yourself a peptalk are great ways to remind yourself that you are capable of anything you set your mind to. It’s also good to keep things fresh as I’m sure the duck walk did 🙂
