Motivational Monday: Leave It In The Rear View

image

Well hello everyone! I’m back, and so happy to be so! I hope you all had a very productive Monday. I know I did. After taking a week off for the holiday, and spending much needed time with my family, I can say I’m glad to be back writing. The break was good because for a whole week my thoughts were just mine, and even though I felt the pressure to share, I didn’t. I found time to just be me.

Today at work we celebrated the farewell of one of my coworkers. She is receiving a very deserving promotion to another department. Although I will miss her, I know she will do well in her new position. I couldn’t help but think about new paths and things especially with the new year approaching so quickly. It is a time to leave the old me in the rear view mirror. I pray 2016 will be a year of growth, joy, and love. I want to set new short term goals and reach them. Use them to eventually reach my long term goals. With all the craziness going on lately in Southern California, it is still important to hope. To not live in fear of what may happen next. Let the past be the past while remembering those we lost, let us move forward. Let that rear view be a constant reminder of why we continue to drive forward. Leave it all in the rear view and be well.
