Hi Everyone! Happy Tuesday to you! I have been gone way to long… Lol! I have been so busy with weddings galore, birthday parties, and other events. Although I had a great time, it has been hard to get back into the groove of writing and organizing my thoughts. Oh my husband and I have also made the decision to transition into a more plant base diet. We won’t be getting rid of meat completely (because we love it), but I have been preparing more vegetarian meals. I’m pleased to say that it has been going very well.
Tonight I want to talk about finding your strength base. Have you ever felt like you don’t have a firm grip on the events that are happening in your life? Have you ever felt overwhelmed? From the outside looking in you appear to have everything together, but inside you are dying? I have been there before, and it is not a good feeling. Life has a way to throw us out of balance. It knocks us down. It damn near punches us in the face, but we can decide to overcome it all!
You must learn to find your strength base. Maybe it is your faith. Maybe it is your family. It could even come from the escape of work. Finding strength in times of trouble has never been easy. I usually have a routine that gets me back in the sync of things, but as of lately it hasn’t always been working. So what do I do? Well deep breathing always works, and repeating words of affirmation. Get in the habit of calming yourself down. You could even have a strength base buddy. Someone you can turn to in times of need that will steer you back into your “normal” lane.
There is a quote by L.B. Conman that says, “Strength is not found in busyness and noise, but in quietness.” Your struggle doesn’t have to be loud. Everyone doesn’t need to know. You can find your peace and strength in just being still. Pray, meditate, learn to love all of your mistakes. Learn to love all of you and forgive those who have continually hurt you. Also remember you are strong, but there is no weakness in crying. Hurting is still apart of the process, but never forget to pick up the pieces. Your wellness is no one’s responsibility but you. You have the power. Find you strength base.
Be well you guys.
Live. Love. Well & Fit.
